What each level must prove

Mid-level

Owns a full pipeline, commits to a forecast, and wins deals against named competitors.

You now carry a quota and are asked what will close this quarter and why. The work shifts from running single calls to inspecting deals, spotting the ones that have stalled, and positioning against the vendor the buyer is already talking to. Demos and business cases are expected to be sharp without supervision.

  • Demo Delivery

Why: Lets you run a multi-persona demo for a competitive evaluation, where each stakeholder is scoring you against another vendor in the same week.

  • Value Proposition

Why: Lets you build a business case that survives a finance review, with assumptions the buyer has agreed to, rather than a slide the champion cannot defend.

  • Pipeline Forecasting

Why: Lets you tell your manager on day 60 of the quarter which deals are commit and which are hope, and defend that call with data instead of gut feel.

  • Deal Reviews

Why: Lets you spot that a deal has had no next step for three weeks, and bring a concrete plan to restart it instead of just updating the CRM stage.

  • Battle Cards

Why: Lets you answer 'how are you different from the other vendor?' live, with a prepared comparison and a question that exposes their weak spot.

  • Competitive Displacement

Why: Lets you pursue an account that already has a working incumbent, and address the fear of a painful migration before it becomes the reason to do nothing.
