Lo que cada nivel debe demostrar

Mid-level

Accountable for a predictable number: coaching reps individually and managing coverage, forecast, territories and quotas.

You still run people, but now you also own the mechanics behind the number: whether pipeline is big enough, whether the call is right, and whether territories and quotas are fair. Compared with junior, you work with ratios and plans as much as with individual conversations.

Ruta de estudio de este nivel: Sales Leadership

  • Coaching Plans

Por qué: You build a coaching plan per rep from their specific gap, such as discovery or closing, instead of giving the whole team the same generic advice.

  • One-on-Ones

Por qué: You use one-on-ones to carry out each rep's coaching plan and hold them to commitments, not only to review deals.

  • Performance Improvement

Por qué: You decide earlier whether an underperformer can be recovered through a plan or should exit, before the miss drags down the whole team's quarter.

  • Pipeline Coverage

Por qué: You read coverage ratios early in the quarter and push for more prospecting while there is still time, instead of discovering a gap in the last month.

  • Forecast Accuracy

Por qué: You build the forecast from rep-level deals and compare it with a top-down view, so your call to the VP holds up at quarter end.

  • Territory Design

Por qué: You redraw territories when one rep has too many accounts and another too few, reducing account conflicts and unfair quota outcomes.

  • Quota Setting

Por qué: You turn the company revenue target into individual quotas that stretch but are reachable, and explain them to each rep without a fight.
